Bracebridge ready for the 2026 Municipal Election
BRACEBRIDGE, ON (March 25, 2026) – Mark your calendars! The municipal election is set for Monday, October 26, and the Town of Bracebridge is ready for an exciting year ahead supporting an informed and engaged electorate.
To support this effort, the Town has launched an updated election website, bracebridgevotes.ca which will serve as the central hub for all election-related information, including key dates, voting options, candidate information, and updates as the election approaches. Residents are encouraged to visit the website and register to receive updates and announcements throughout the election period.
Municipal elections play a vital role in shaping local communities, determining who will make decisions on issues that matter most to residents, including services, infrastructure, growth, and quality of life. The Bracebridge Votes initiative is designed to provide clear, timely, and easy-to-understand election information for voters to follow throughout the process. - Thursday, April 30 at 6 p.m. – Candidate information session in Council Chambers at the District of Muskoka, 70 Pine Street, Bracebridge
- Friday, May 1 – Candidate nominations begin
- Friday, August 21 – Candidate nominations close at 2 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 14 to Monday, October 26 – Cast your vote in the Municipal Election
