Voter Information Letters coming soon for 2026 Municipal Election

BRACEBRIDGE, ON (September 23, 2026) – Eligible electors in Bracebridge can expect to begin receiving their Voter Information Letter in the mail soon. This letter contains important information electors will need to cast their ballot, including instructions for voting online or by telephone.

Electors are encouraged to keep their Voter Information Letter in a safe place to be ready to vote from October 14 to 26.

How to vote
Voting has never been easier. Electors can vote online and by telephone using the information provided in their Voter Information Letter.

Before voting begins, electors should:

• Watch for their Voter Information Letter in the mail;
• Keep the letter in a safe and accessible place;
• Review the voting instructions provided;
• Make sure they understand who they can vote for; and
• Make a plan to vote during the voting period.

Haven’t received your letter?
The delivery of Voter Information Letters may vary. If you have not received your Voter Information Letter by Wednesday, October 14, please contact the Bracebridge Votes team at vote@bracebridge.ca or 705-645-5264.

Voter Information Letter addressed to someone who no longer lives at your address?
Despite best efforts to maintain accurate voter information, Voter Information Letters may occasionally be sent to individuals who no longer live at an address due to a move, death, or historical land title information.

If you receive a Voter Information Letter for someone who does not live in your household, please do not open the envelope. Write “Return to Sender” on the envelope, indicate the reason, such as “moved” or “deceased” and place it in any Canada Post mailbox. Remember, it is illegal to vote for another person.
